Bought a few things today.

Branzino 3000 loaded with 20lb Bionic paired with Steez hotdog. Ready for my frazer trip in a few weeks time.

Second is a Pixy rod. Pretty much unused, with origonal plastic Pixy box and rod sleeve. Thinking about getting a steez 103 for it.

upgraded the drag stack with a 4500 satliga carbontex kit and also got a new knob for it. Im not a fan of the T grips, blooded this combo the last 2 days with 3 jacks and a few jewies. Still getting used to the spin gear, so DohDohDohDoh at casting it atm compared to BC haha.

Rocksy,

Yeah mate unfortunately I realise that, might just have to look after it though like i do with all my reels anyway. Generally speaking the only water that gets on the reel is from the line, if I clean up around where the line touches it should be fine. I certainly wont be wading with it or anything in salt water, so it should be safe.
See if u like this one, the closest to a presso 1003.

yeah man those are nice reels, really light for a 2000 size reel, 170 grams, thats insane.

I currently have my steez on it, its a bit large but balances surprisingly nice and looks good and is comfortable, so i might just keep that until i have enough money to buy a reel just for that rod. Otherwise ill just keep interchanging them

Where and how much are the Saltiga Drag upgrades for the Branzinos boy's......?

Also, how many kg are they rated to after the new drag is fitted?
Cheers.

I'm pretty sure it just a matter of changing the washers to Carbontex or whatever Daiwa call their version, I got some custom made to fit.
I grease them and I would estimate the max drag pressure to only a little more than standard.

Quite pricey, not sure which version will suit the Branzino.

Might need to do a search.
