I thought that was the case...haha.

Nah thanks for the responses! That makes some more sense. I guess a 7'3"rod with a 2004 steez will be really tip heavy so a bit of extra butt weight would help it out.

This is my new bling for the month ( god im sick) Megabass Racing Condition F2 610XSRC, 1/32-1/4, 3-10lb. Guides are a bit weird but I like them

Easy to put em on, theyre a Fuji EWBC or something, they've got 3 3/8oz lead discs inside that are held in with a screw and thread. Put 2 of em on my DSR's after I shortened the rear grips. Piece of cake to fit. HTH

Awesome looking rod mate! Think they're K series Fuji guides. I've got the same stripper guide on the new Miller also

it was a little bit mate.

Very lucky though as I bought it within Australia! An interstate store had one in stock at a few hundred dollars less than what I was quoted by another store if they were to import it in for me. Got really, really luck on the price, otherwise I wouldnt have been able to buy it yet

You'd have to (carefully) strip enough of the rear grip back to fit the balancing cap, stripping the cork back to the blank, and then key the blank up lightly, and then pack enough wraps of masking tape to fit the new cap snuggly....Im not 100% sure how much rear grip you'd have left to fit the new cap, as you'd know the vapors only have a very small rear grip....thats how I'd tackle it though. HTH??
