Exclamation Need some feedback!

Hey guys, could I get as many of you as possible to try this knot out and give me some feedback on it? I want to know what type, brand and breaking strain your using so I can get an idea of it's effectiveness.

Cheers
Nick

I was just playing around with some heavier breaking strains and had the knot slip too easily.... so I have come up with an improved version. WATCH THIS SPACE!!!

Here is the new improved version. It works on any line class. Holds brilliantly!

1 tie a double overhand

2 snug it down to form a figure 8

3 pass the tag through the eye of your lure

4 pass the tag back through 2 holes formed by the figure 8, leaving a loop between the holes of the 8. Make sure you thread through the first hole in the 8 so that the tag end enters through the opposite side of the hole to the other half of your line.

5 take the tag end thread it back through the loop you created between the figure 8

6 pull the tag a little bit so that it just barely begins to snug down on the figure 8, and then pull tight the lure, tag and main line simultaneously. Trim the tag leaving about 3-5mm

It takes a bit of practice, I stuffed it up about 20 times before I figured it out, but once you do it a few times it's really easy. I hope I've explained it well enough.

Did you try the improved version? It can't slip if you do it right.
