Are they a bugger to cast?

. At 1.5 grams that's a gram lighter then an SX40 and casting them with wind isn't exactly everyones strong point. I usually use heavier lures like the Tiemco Stick Bait (3 grams) and the CK40 (5 Grams)depending on what the conditions are.

Though I do like the suspending feature. SX40's have a slow float, CK40's have a fast float and Stickbaits have a medium sink. Wouldn't mind a suspending lure in my tackle box. Do they suspend in salt or fresh?

I saw another Jackall lure that looks the goods for Bream. Called a Flat something (Help me out)

I've been using the blue Yamatoyo braid for casting really light lures and it brilliant. Just a bugger to see in the water.

yeh ive been using the 40mm ones an they cast fine. i think they dive a little too shallow but i hav caught oodles of bream on them especially on the flats

The are one of the sweetest stickbaits I have ever used. Great for the flats, got some fish on Wakasagi yesterday. Awesome Trout lure too, plus they have all the right gear...mmmm..... owner trebles

Interesting to see some of the Japanese lures available to us now and there is a lot of difference in quality between certain ones as Marcus mentioned I think a good indication of quality is what trebles they come standard with "Owners" always a good sign, also if you check out Japanese retail prices you'll see a difference of around 15-20% between the lower end and the higher end which is not necessarily reflected in the Aus price.

Do a bit of research and look closely at the finishes and trebles when buying them, I do

Aboslutely true AOS. Anything with Owners standard is a good deal...... Mira Shads, Megabass, Ecogear, Lake Police/Jackall, I love them all.

Price here versus Japan is frustrating, but then again, our market is still developing. We are 'small fry' in terms of sales.

A quick look at Cabella's or Bass Pro shows that the Megabass Live X smolt is available in close to 50 colours in the USA..... and here we have a total range of 5! That's what really frustrates me!!!!!!

The beauty of good trebles standard is it saves messing around with the split ring pliers and screwing the balance of the hardbody. Plus the extra dollars saved comes in handy.... when buying a new hardbody!
