I tend to agree that Fc is the best line in this value class IMO and good value for money. I normally use V Hard and after reading these post, I put it to the test this morning (as I have both). V Hard is definitely a better line IMO. I wrapped both ends of each around 2 sections of broom handle and broke several lines. The V Hard was far superior. I know that I did not have scales, but they were not required. The difference was quite substantial. 6lb V Hard was quite hard to break, whilst Fc was only moderate. Biting several sections off with my teeth, I did notice a difference also. V Hard was a little harder to cut through. After reading these posts I decided to just stick with FC, but after the tests, I will go back to the V Hard. I know it is expensive... but worth it IMO.
