On the Friday evening during the briefing you will get to meet your boaters for the weekend. This is the time to ask them exactly how much gear you can bring along. Some boaters let you bring along as much gear as you possibly want, others, due to the size of their boats, limit you to 2 rods, a tackle bag and a food bag.
Again, ask if you need to bring along your own PFD and at the end of the day remember - offer petrol money to your boater. 99.9% of the time they will not take a cent but it always pays to make the offer
