problems ive had in the past trying to rig jigheads on small plastic crabs is
1) finding a jighead with short enough shank to make the whole presentation compact and
2) hook point turning into the crab.
my ideal jighead would be no4 or no2 short shank hook with varying weight leadheads and then have a horizontal bit of metal like a knife blade in the head so that when you insert into the crab, the hookpoint cant turn or a couple of small spikes sticking out from the head to lock the hook in the upright position:

Squidgy round jigheads in No. 4 and 6 hooks with the plastic keeper would suit best.
