cheers guys, appreciate the feedback
i have a Nikon D7000 with the 18-105 kit lense, and a Bower 8mm fisheye lense.
shoot in raw and PP done using nikon Capture NX (software that comes with camera) and then use CS6 for alterations if needed (like removing spots, cloning, and other stuff like that)

i have linked the files from facebook page, and as such the quality is rubbish to view them in better resolution check out my FB page.

I hope you don't mind but I saved your jetty sunset pic to use as my desktop for a while.
You really capture the colours well.

Pics are sensational Steve, awesome work.

Green Hornet 26-08-2013 06:41 PM

Awesome stuff.
Great use of leading lines in some of your shots.
I'm just starting to take a real interest in landscape photography myself.
I've been a macro addict for many years.

Thanks matey, trying to learn here and there biggest issue is time, im either fishing, working on my car or taking photos lol
some of my best pics have come from when ive been fishing so its a blessing in disguise
i bought my fisheye for landscapes and things like that. its very addictive, havent tried any macros shots at all. one day i will for now its cars, landscapes and general photos, learning to use the flash now. thats a hard thing in itself lol
cheers

There's always something new to learn in this game, that's what makes it interesting.
I like how photography helps you notice the nice things happening around you every day that a lot of others miss.
You see the world in a different light.

purple5ive 27-08-2013 03:42 AM

yes
i started out a few years ago now with an entry level camera D3000, ten moved onto the D7K a year later. still learning how to use the thing
must buy some faster glass but now concentrating on a new combo so that will have to wait lol
cheers
