Clyde River BREAM Results - Day 1
The Day 1 results of the Clyde River comp are in!
Tim "The Bream" Morgan leads from Trent Butler - both have 5 fish. Many big names have not done well so far - but I understand the conditions are tough. DaveW hasn't got on the board yet - but there is still tomorrow. Full details are at http://www.fishingmonthly.com.au/~br...s/thefile.html |
Good to see Dave got on board on day 2
Well done to finish 14th with so many anglers in the comp Cheers Mim |
Actually poor 'ol Dave did not get on the board at all! Like so many of us there he scored double doughnuts:(
In fact Dave, Myself, Mick Collins and Bill Macguire all stayed in the same cabin and Bill was the only guy who managed to put a fish on the board for the weekend! It was a tough, wet weekend with very few scoring fish caught. Cheers Matt |
OOPS!!!
My apology I saw Dave Seaman and assumed that was our Dave. There is always the next comp We are behind our guys all the way How many female anglers do you get in the NSW comps? Cheers mim |
Ummm, I think there was only one, Natalie Grima, at the Clyde? Since it was my first ABT comp I cant really say, although this one had the biggest turnout so far:D
Cheers Matt |
Did the winners get patches

As Matt has said this weeks Clyde event was the biggest on record with a total of 96 anglers competing.
Like Matt, this was also my first BREAM event but it certainly won't be the last. Even though the fishing was very hard it was a lot of fun and a steep learning curve. New techniques were learned and a few sneaky "guitar" tricks learned eh Matt:D . Cabin 6 at the Coachhouse had 4 seedy looking tenants for the weekend who didn't get too many fish but we had some fun. Commiserations to Matt, Dave and Mick on their doughnuts but there's always Forster eh guys. Always look on the bright side of life. I mean, -10 points in the AOY ain't so bad:p:p :D |
Just for Bill - :p :p :p :p
I'll hang my head for a while - it was very difficult fishing indeed. On the bright side I added Yellowtail to my Plastics species list, but I would've been happy to trade it for a 250mm Bream.....:D Well done Bill on your one  fish:D And commiserations to MickC and Matt - there's always next time.... |
