Hey Guys.
I just got back from the most eciting but frustrating bream session ive ever had.
Iwas working some structure with my trusty avocado grubs but the fish were ignoring it. I decided a change was needed so out came the amber grub. I couldn't believ it when five bream (all legal) started nailing my lure on the surface!:D I hooked up immediately for a 32cm fish.
After that a school of monster (and i mean horses) bream arrived. At least five went 2+kg and not one was under the 35cm mark. They were the fussiest bastards in history and none of my techniques would produce a fish. I then tried the only hard body ive got (manns 10 plus) and got a walloping hit on it and then nothing. I really needed some other hard bodies today as i honestly believe that would make the difference.
Oh well looks like i'm investing in some more hard bodies.

ps After about 45 minutes the fish were still there, but more little fish arrived as well, at least 60 fish in the small area i fished.:)
Best sight ive ever seen!

Where was that Dave, not the regular haunt..... ???. mmmmmm If it is, I`d have to agree one of the most frustrating places to fish, not that they can`t be pulled out, just that seeing them frustrates the hell out of ya.

Good to see a colour change worked and then a change to Hards.

Oh yeah and mate ya gotta upgrade that picture...... :D , Im sure Ive got a better one in my collection.

Cheers

Richo:p

Sounds like a great session kingpin, those amber 2" atomics are a horny little grub...

Try a couple of proven hard bodies like the Oargee's and the Attacks. The Halco Scorpion's are also a dynamite Bream lure. Tilsan have just launched a chrome gold and black Bass, I've just ordered 5 for the Store. These are excellent for bigger fish that hold deeper. They dive to 3.5m and with the trebles removed and a chem sharp size ten put on the rear, they suspend beautifully down deep. A couple of twitches every now and then keeps them down there too.

Let me know if you want any help picking some colours

Here's a tip for changing that pic Dave. Chop the left hand side off and zoom in a bit... I'm sure the guys will be very appreciative...:D :D :D

Thats prolly a good idea, the only problem being that that particular girl happens to be my girlfriend who is next to me a lot while i'm on this sight. Dont know how she'd take it!
Just thought i'd see what kind of reaction i'd get! hehe
I'll be getting the lures soon, ive got a fine and some debt to pay off first!
Stoopid cops hehe
Thanx guys.

If your after the 2kg+ fish i would use a manns 5, its bigger than the deceptions or attacks and has more body action for those bigger fish.
