A sneak peak at whats happening at the 2005 Perth International Boat Show and some info about the tournament WABT will be running at this years boat show.

Keep on eye on the next few issues of Hotbite and WAFM as they will have all the details of what looks like it will be the best PIBS for years.

Drive through weigh in at the Convention Centre, live on stage, super tank etc.

More details soon but the prize pool is up to 25 grand already and the winning boater & non-boater will both take home boat packages worth about $10,000 to $15,000 each

The drive through weigh in site below!

Mucho spoof factor.

I'm calling it now, it will be the best comp WA has seen....:D :D I can't wait!

That's it, :p ahh actually I nearly forgot but this guy Monksie (you've probably never heard of him :p) joins the WAFM team and looks at all the under-rated species one can catch from the stones.......

:D :D

PS: Sorry Monksie but you didn't really think I could let you off scott free did you? ;)

The Monk factor joins WAFM! Who would have ever thought eh!

It's amazing what can be achieved when two grown adults sit down and have a beer eh? ;)

I know some losers on other less frequented websites are calling WAFM a "bream theme" mag so I just wanted to point out that in our first three issues we have covered....

Sambo jiggin
Permit on fly
The Blackwood River
Torbay Inlet
Billabong barra
Cobia
Beach bashing for tailor
Charters
Albany's Oyster Harbour
Snapper Shore Basha
Mangrove Jacks
Northern Plastics
Queenfish
Starlo on plastics
Skippy
Spillway Sooty Grunter
Rockingham 40m Flats
Odds, sods & cods off the rocks, Monksie
Tuna
Moore River
Bonito

Don't think I need to add anything to that.....

:D

Welcome aboard to Woodsie, Monksie and all of the new writers. Nothing like spreading the load and giving all our readers the chance to experience fishing from so many different angles.

Less pressure on me to :D

04-05-2005, 09:35 PM
True that.

I'm loving bi-monthly, monthly is bloody hard work (Dario & Dave will back me up on that) and I'm finding that only having to write maybe 4 or 5 articles a year means the quality is better as well..........

Loving it........:D

Can u tell? :D

Mmmmmm now where shall I go fishing for the next two weeks?

These two suspicious looking characters were seen hanging around the start line at Mega Bucks......

Damn it - there's a few mags around the traps that could take a few lessons from here.........

Don't forget this poor little east coaster (am I an honourary WA fisho yet??) when the mags go out :D

04-05-2005, 09:42 PM
It's all good but casue Batman was there to keep an eye on any suspicious looking characters :p

04-05-2005, 09:52 PM
Can't help myself, have a look at the faces on these two after a big night :p

04-05-2005, 09:54 PM

Blimen heck mate - can't you tell the difference between a look of total concentration and being seriously hung over?? :D

That was the decoy spot anyway - only suckers followed us in there :p :D

I hope Dave is still enjoying the Perth environment, I should still be there..............
