i am searching for a large Arbor reel(if possible any sort of nice somth reel would be ok) Around a six weight or so. It dosent matter what brans iam not looking not to blow the buget. But it would be nices to have some extra spools or a reel that i can get extra spools for.(the reels i have i cant find extra spools for)Also if possible a sinking line/intermeadite line in a six weight.(the sinking line i have is a shooting head sort of thing which is really difficult to cast and sinks really quick). something that dosent sink so quick would be nice.
thank stuart

I use a Felty 911 for my 8wt and it's a sweet reel, pretty sure it comes in smaller sizes.
As for line, you won't go wrong with a SA Striper Intermediate, it's the easiest line to handle that I've come across.

have a look at the vision range. they sell an all graphite large arbor reel for $195, or if you want something a bit more expensive, they also sell one for around $500, which are very sweet reels. another option would be a snowbee XS reel in black or titanium finish, and retail for $360 - $400.
Lamson/waterworks Litespeed or velocity series ar also pretty nice.
when it comes down to it, they're all very similar (in a certain price range) to each other, so the best thing to do would be to try a few on your rod, and see how they feel/look for you.
if your in perth, drop in to flyworld in bayswater, Chris should be able to sort you out.
Swoffa,
aren't the felty's a standard arbor???
Catch ya later,

oh i have about 250 hundred but i dont want to spend that much i was looking for something rather cheap at the moment sceond hand would be good. just so i can get the sinking line on a working reel that matchs my rod a bit better.
can get a intermediate line and a reel at aussie for $235 retail, the same as i use.

Scientific anglers concept 2 model 56 LA reels retail for under $150 now, and they're great value at that price.
