Yeh the boys are doing good. Dagga (David Orsini) is way up there aswell. A couple of young Vics mixing it with the best in the country and shading a few big names on the first day - Bloody great effort.

Check out some of the names who blanked

14 Ian MILLER NSW
14 Michael METCALFE QLD
14 Steve STARLING NSW

Guys if you haven't entered a comp yet cause your worried about making a fool of yourself, take a look at the names here, we all blank.

My record is 1 comp entered, result blanked. I wasn't upset to blank I still learnt HEAPS and I'll be back again.

Try it.

yeah thats it mate, we all have our bad days, but just showing by the number of people blanking, it must be some very tough fishing at the moment. i can't wait to enter the comps, would be a great place to learn new techniques.

Geez i dont feel so bad being outfished by Flash know... . If he can beat the bests in Breamin in Australia ,thats a top effort for a young kid of his age . Let just hope that today he pulls some rippers as well . Hail to our leader !!!!!!:D :D Well done to all the Vics competing , looks very promising to all involved..

Looks like the fishing was tough for most of the guys on the circuit.

It looks to be that a few anglers bagged 2-5 on the last day/.

Well done dagga .. and any of the other boys from the breammaster site.!!!!!

Now I don't feel so bad... with half of the field getting donuts.

I was there for a couple of days on the Easter weekend and managed half a day on the Tambo and 2 half days at McLennan Straits. We only managed one EP, 2 flathead (and a goby), couple of dropped fish and missed bites, but NO BREAM.

Nice work guys !!

Looks like the average fish size was right up there too !! - Steersy's bag averaged 1.5Kg each !! :) - must be all that Monster Tassie bream experience !!

According to Yellow Door (who has fished with Jordan a few times), Jordan's a FREAK with the rod and lure.. Jordan has this ability to get bream to bite at his lure be it SX-40s in the nong or soft plastics in Docklands!!! Looks like the Comp has just cemented his LEGEND status..
Dagga... he's just a FREAK.. full stop! ;) :p :p

Good on ya, dagga.... keep 'em coming! I'm not fishing with you in a comp again!!

crabcrusher and yd1,

how did u go this arvo with Flash?

yellow door 1
04-04-2005, 09:09 AM
Not so good - mainly listening to Jordans stories about massive Tambo bream. Cant wait to get there.

None of us got anything while fishing together but I havent blanked since I started using ecogears and I wasnt about to start. I moved up river after they left and got a tiny one that saved the day.

We usually only fish these area's on a high tide so it was more of a catch up than a hardcore session

Conehead
04-04-2005, 09:12 AM
we didn't do that great either. :(

04-04-2005, 09:22 AM

Dagga, I don't know you at all, so I won't feign familiarity, but congratulations all the same, you must be stoked. Jordan, if you ever happen to read this, you must have bream genes in you or something, you know them too well. Congrats to you too mate, I knew you were a gun at luring bream from tough places.

Craig,
Was that rough comming back on the last day or what..
I had a ball , the old Hornet was air born a few times but handled the chop really well!
They are an awesome boat for what they are....

Dagga and Nath its jorg, but alot of people over the years have called me george. I dont mind either mate.
And talking about the ride back from Metung on the last day, what a kidney killer, i saw Ian miller head back to Metung because it just to wild i guess for his little boat.

Woody ive sent you a P.M, thx for the pics.

Dagga, i got my 2 fish in the marina working a 3' WATERMELON Bass Minnow. At first i was hooking up to trev's, red''s and lizards but within the first hour i had the first legal in the well and the 2nd an hour latter, all fish where caught off the bottom slow retreve.
Look forward to seeing you guys again this yr and Dave congrats on making the GF.
