Platypus 4lb Braid!?!?

I know this has been covered before but it seems no definitive answer has been found. What do people think of the 4lb platypus braid? I am sick of fireline. Also does anyone know where to get the 4lb platypus in Sydney?

why are you sick of fire line mate i have it on all my reels from my bream gear to my off shore gear never had a prob with it

I am sick of it fluffing and losing colour mate. And i thought maybe there is something better or as good that is Australian. Would much rather pay for that...

campbells they also have it in blue instead of the smoke most shops carry

i could be wrong, but i think any sort of braid will lose colour,fluff etc over time.

thats right big pete all braids loos colour and fluff up in time nothing can handle salt water and the sun forever

i have had my squidgey briad 4 half a year now and i have had no air knots and it hardly has fluffed fully sick stuff
