nice rod mate I've got the 1-3kg which is perfect for sp's.

1500 reel right size for breaming

what poundage is ur line ?? I have 1 spool with 4lb green and the other with 6lb pink, but 4lb is the general choice.

L M other people opionons are second to what you feel comfortable with or can afford. Strudwick aren't a bad rod. A rex special I would be telling you it is naughty :-)naughty :-)naughty :-)naughty :-). Daiwa Kastor are alright as well. Do you catch fish and do you feel comfortable using it ?. Thats what matters in the end.

leader turned out to be seaguar when i got my reel today. greg (fish_man) taught a little about fireline, too. the set ups great very comfortable and light, cast liek a beauit. I cast 30+ mtrs on 12gms on more then 30 occasiosn just when i got home. the line 'zings' through the guides. its sensitive too

my rod was free so beat that:D

how'd u get it free? your folk's buy it for ya'?

What are u casting 12 grams for?

i won it off www.fishvictoria.com. I had to go fishing several hundred times (guesstimate) to win it. I should've got teh 6'6 1-3kg, but whatchya gonna do (I was young and stupid)?

I was casting about 12 gms so I could get the loops out of my line. so when i go fishing i dont get any knots.;)
