View Full Version : HardBodies with soft plstics colours

Hey guys.
Does anyone know why soft plastics have so many natural colours, but hard bodies don't?
I am curious as i'm in the middle of painting some of my lures at the moment!
Also, has anyone had any real success with the silver and black(tiger pattern) Attack?

Not anywhere near as good as I've had with the gold version.

Depends on the manufacturer a lot.

I've been checking out a few and there are some really interesting colours. There are a few from Storm that I can't wait to try. One is called a Hot Tiger. A feal fluro yellow with tiger stripes.

Also some crayfish brown that i like the look of.

Rebel do some nice colours as well.

Wait 'til you see some of the Deceptions. I can feel my wallet hurting already.

Just hunt around and wait 'til you see what Warren has coming.

I have only recently started using hard bodies with a majority of them in the gold/chrome colours and they do work. My mate and I had a mullet and gold yo-zuri snapshad on and the gold outfished the mullet(or silver) about 2 to 1. But he did have something take his lure, peel of line and bust him off before you could say "what the ........."

Cool thanx guys. I've noticed that rebel have a lot of natural colours in there range. It seems to me that the majority of fish take HB's that don't actually resemble anything natural. Is it because the fish are striking due to Aggression?!!!

Thanx again, you guys backed my original ideas that silver wasn't as good as gold!

the silver tiger attack works great with a little colour in the water. :)
