Time for an update ladies and gents, so while you read this, the site is currently updating with lots of new goodies.
Check out the new Halco Crawfish colour that has been going off. It's available in the Sneaky Scorp, the Laser Pro and the DD 5s Scorp.
We've also added a large range of the new SnapBack soft plastics. The closest thing we have to a Blowie proof plastic, with a killer action to boot.
Reddington Flurocarbon for those in the know.
We've also now added the all NEW Enviro Jig Rounds. Well done again to Bubba on a great product.
Here's a taste, check it out.
might buy some of the snap backs for the winter months at the yacht clubs. those blowies are such a nuisance.

I tried some of the snapbacks I have yesterday. All lasted about 2 seconds before getting mauled by blowies. They last a little longer, had 1 blowie dangling off the end holding on the end of the tail before it bit the SP in half.
From my limited experience they are not very blowie proof. I am down 1 pack and do not think I will be buying another.

They may not be blowie proof, but they certainly are a lot better than normal placcies.
On the weekend I was using snapbacks with a mate and we were getting roughly 5 fish on each snap before having to change and a heap of casts without hookups also.
When I did run out - the next plastics I tried were mauled before I even got to start the retreive - and I went through that pkt in about 2 minutes, whereas the snapback pkts were lasting nearly an hr or so each.
Then again I was using the big snapbacks and not the curly tail ones.
cheers

Yeah, I was using the dropshot looking ones. Got no fish, bar the 1 blowie I pulled out.
Went to a cheaper fat grub, lost about the same amount as the whole packet of snapbacks but caught 5 nice ones. I guess the blowies in Ascott Waters having been eating their wheaties ;)
