Alvey tackle holders

I bought some Alvey tackle holders a few weeks back, they come in red, orange, green and yellow and are roughly 6" by 4" with a clear lid and Alvey embossed into the top of the lid.

Just a warning they were sold to me as "worm proof" and they ARE NOT and I learnt the hard way by about $60-00 worth of SP''s dissolving into the plastic:mad:

I have two unused and they will be for hooks only the others went into the Sulo.

Howya going LCF, I'd be taking the whole mess back to the tackle shop of purchase and hassling them into replacing the SPs and replacing the tackle boxes with worm proof ones. I'm sure they should come to the party and replace your ruined stuff.

I bought the SP's from Breammaster and the tackle shop gave me some lamo excuse along the lines " how do I know how many soft plastics dissolved"...........he will refund my bucks for the Alvey holders but thats all. Dont worry its another case of voting with my feet......his loss, as I spent a goodly some there each year.

I can order online cheaper and easier than in person and the cliche' "from the comfort of my own home" rings true.
