I stopped using Gama's because the hook integrity was very bad. Slightest nudge into a snag and the hook would bend. Converted over to the envirojigs and loving them, pulled a huge rock up last weekend and hook wasnt bent at all, point required a little bit of a resharpen ;)

Gamma are a rip off for the quality you get in the hook IMO.

I was sick of wasting so much money on them so i switched to using Owner jigs and also Kingpins Jiggy jigs.

I have never had a problem with Owner hooks.

If I use Gammas, they're strictly one fish/rock per head, then I replace the jig.

I must get my hands on the jigs that bend.. No..no.. I'm not kidding. I have an application for them. I'll use them around REALLY snaggy areas and when I snag up I won't lose the lure, jighead and leader and saves me tying the improved albright all over again evertime I lose the whole lot. I can live with losing the lure and jig.. gives me a reason to go shopping but the leader bit is irritating because instead of fishing you're tying knots most of the time.
I guess I'll have to play the fish more if I hooked up a fish with that jighead and not muscle it in.
I'll have to bring along a pair of long nosed pliers to bend the hook back and a sharpener to touch up the hook point.

Don't try to find jigs that bend, just learn how to tie an albright better. You shouldn't lose your leader everytime you get snagged, the hook knot should be the weakest link in the rig.

I know what you mean though, everytime I use Squidgie hooks I love the fact that you can straighten them on a snag making it easy to cut the head off and re-tie.

I'm pretty sure I do my Albright right. I'm following the Geoff Wilson knot book.

Chunqx,
if you really want that jig to bend on a snag you can open up the gap with your pliers and then close it back to its original shape. I personally wouldn't do it for fear of losing a fish.

Try "locking" it, there's a pic here somewhere that Chris posted.
