Tahanks Andrew
Andrew,
Not fair mate. Spots can be pretty hit and miss each day. The best idea is to keep mobile, have a few casts and if no hits then move on.
I would start around Bassendean and work through.
hey bear or anyone else have you tried fishmarket recently??? and its surrounds???

Andrew, give Ascot Waters a go mate, it's easy to find, easy to fish, there is a lot of water to cover and it's likely you'll pick up a fish or two.
If you're not interested in that, try Redcliffe bridge and all along that stretch up to Garvey Park..I've been picking up a few fish a long there in the last couple of days, everything's been on plastics as well but be prepared to lose a few jigheads.
But as Bear mentioned, it can be hit and miss, just keep moving around till you find some fishies.

Fishmarket ????
Whats the bream around $8.99 a kilo ?

Yeh, I also say keep moving around. Ive been getting hits in reed beds and sand flats with deep dropoffs.
Cheers
The reeds are always worth a go. Bream love to pick in between them.
