The Auto Pilot feature on the Minn-Kota's follows a compass bearing as set by the user.
Simply:
Imagine fishing along the bank of a river.
Use the foot pedal or Co-Pilot to 'aim' the motor at the destination point.
Flick on the continuous switch to energize the drive motor/prop.
Adjust the power/speed setting 1 - 10.
The Kota will now follow the course laid in, regardless of wind and tide actions, by constantly correcting the course.
