New handle on my Epix

I hated the handle on my new Epix so I had a spare double paddle Shimano handle and an hour and some fiddling and I'm very happy with the end result.

Hehe why didnt you like the handle? I love that handle its the grip is so cool.

Anyway I noticed that your fireline is all the way to the rim, is is actually like that or just looks like it in the pic? I left around 2 mm to prevent it throwing loops, but if its okay all the way then...

Nothing like a bit of a fiddle;)

Do you cast left handed and wind with the right? Or are you still a cast right, retrieve right man??

I've all but given up on winding left handed Dave I'm to unco.

So its cast right handed the old switcheroo and wind right handed:)

The paddle was just so stiff on the Epix there was def something wrong with it, I tried everything to fix it but it was just too tight and I didn't want to have to post it off and wait for a replacement so I took matters into my own hands literally:D and I'm really happy with it, I like the balance of double paddles.
