Sounder

I have a budget of $500 for a new sounder and was after any suggestions of advice on what to get.
All coments welcome.
I am thinking matrix 17X
Any one have any second hand units for sale.

You should be able to do better then a Matrix 17, you can pick up a Matrix 35 in Sydney for $550, as it is the superceded model so I imagine that you would get the same deals in your neck of the woods. If you dont mind buying overseas, there are heaps of sounders on Ebay, and you can get a new Matrix 37 to your door for around the $400 mark. I wouldn't buy a seconhand sounder.

I may try to get a 35 if I can find one at that price.
Is there much difference from the 37?
Im looking on ebay aus now and can only find matrix X20's

You wont find any major bargain sounders on Ebay AUS, you will have to look at items located in the states. But any warranty claims will have to go back to the US, but there are big savings to be made.

I can get a X37 from the USA for heaps cheap but are all the specs same from different countries?
Some guy told me the X17 was a single cone unit and my catalogue tells me its a 60' duel cone
