went down to good old ascot waters again today

threw everything i had for nothing not even a hit
my mate was bait fishing he picked up 1 size and a dozen undersize. I copped a bit of flak oh well
lots of people everywhere and most of them was throwing something other than bait. Jeez those bream must be getting fed up with all the lures

It's mad fishing for BIG bream on the sand flats. We pre-fished the rivers and come comp day they shut down.

As usually happens, we found those with the inside info fished the flats and killed the pig.

Over 200 bream caught for the weekend.

Photos coming, but in the mean time this is part of the storm we had TODAY.

For those that weren't there, Bear's photo of the storm is no way close to doing it justice. Woke up to the sound of thunder and lighting and then proceeded to go fishing in howling wind and sleeting rain. Just wonderful.

For people like me that havent given good wet weather gear a lot of priority, move it up the "must have" list. Standing around for 5 hours in completely saturated clothes doesnt add to the enjoyment of the fishing experience.

I'm waiting for the second round of offers for uni, and boy am i excited!!!
What uni are you at Mischevious, coz i know murdoch starts i a couple of weeks? ALso, which course.

There are rain ponchos that are cheap and pack up really small.
Look in your local Aussie Disposals or similar camping type shops.
They are easy to tuck away in the boat or car for emergencies.
