Hey guys,
Does anyone know of any sites worth looking at in terms of lure making. I want to try making small hard bodies, but dont know what materials to use and how to attach the wires for the trebles.:(
Also, what is the best way of sealing balsa, before painting. Balsa is like a sponge if it isn't sealed. Also what can i use to harden the balss so it isn't so soft.
Any help is appreciated!!!:D ]

Thanx mate. I'm stuck on my arse for 6 more weeks, so this will give me something to do. I've got the little airbrush out and tested it today (a model making gun) so all is good. I'll keep you guys posted on how i go!:D
Thanx Again

Hey guys.
I've just finished shaping my first two lures.
They are both balsa with straight through wires. I left out the front hook point as i don't use them.
I'm painting them now, so i'll put some pics up soon!

I'm thinking of gold and red on one of them.
And red and yellow on the other.
I don't know what patterns to use as there my first, so i'll see.
I'm just waiting on the primer/sealer to dry as there balsa bodies.
They are without bibs at the moment as i have none, and dont know whether to make them or buy them.
I'll keep you posted!:D
