G'day there to all you mad keen breammasters.I'm Trav ,I live in Halls Gap in Victoria ,A LONG WAY FROM THE MAGNIFICANT BREAM:mad: so most of my fishing is done in the nearby fresh water lakes(BELLFIELD) I've had abit of success ltely catching the nocturnal 'river blackfish' on a range of soft plastics!:)

Just wondering if anyone out there knows anything about the bream fishing in the moyne river at port fairy? as i may be moving there soon.

CHERES TRAV.

Hey Trav hows it going!!!

Good to see you signed up, your gonna love this site.

To bad to had to leave on sataday, just after you left i bumped into Neil Slater a who is a member of fishvictoria, we chated for a while and exchanged fishing hot spots then the fish started coming on the bite.
I managed 9 Bream, the fishing went off!! i guess it was to do with the tides. all fish where around 30cm with a couple under 30. Neil managed to get into some to and my confidence has now been restored LoL :P

Pics to come.

Next time your in town just give me a buzz and we can arange to catch up.

Chears, Nathan

Hey another Gramps fisho. Good to see another person from my area join in. The last time I was at Pt Fairy it was very quiet which was two weeks ago. My nephew caught a 32cm bream 1st cast then we got nothing. The Fitzroy and the Yambuck close by are alright and if they fail there is the Hopkins river which can be a saviour.
