First fish on a lure

hi

i caught my fist fish on a lure yesterday
i caught it at ascot waters about 30cm away from shore
but the fish was only about 10cm
but its a start
now atleast i know the lures work now

Well done :-)
Once you've done it once and you believe it is easier to keep fishing with lures and know you will get fish.

Twenty casts without a touch and then bang, your retrieve is stopped solid and the rod bends and pulses as the fish realises it has made a mistake and tries to get away.

you've done it the right way....start small and work your way up to the big buggers :D :D ...no point starting big....what do you have to look forward to then?? ;)
