I've been using a couple of the Regal Z 1500c's for about four months now and have been very happy with them. They retail for around $140 but you can sometimes find them on special for $120 - $130. Great little reel which has four ball bearings and a lovely smooth drag. They also come with a spare spool which is great for having ready to go during a comp.
Tim Morgan used these before he went to Stella's.

The Regal Z has been discontinued (replaced by the Harbodyz series), though some tackle shops still have them in stock. They are one of the best bream reels around - terrific value for money - and can be had for $90-$100 on the East Coast. I've used mine in salt with no dramas for more than a year, just rinse it occasionally and spray it with INOX.

Yea when I was looking for a reel my friend did me a favor and called a few places she knew. She had the regal z for $116 but in the end I took the okuma epix. The shop is in perth somewhere if your interested I can ask her where it was from

Michael,
Check A-Mart All Sports and Tackle Warehouse (Cooparoo) - Both have had Regal-Z for $99 or there abouts.
They also have other Daiwa models veru similar to the Regal-Z for aroud the same price.
