Hi Breamboy
I like using Squidgies and find that the bream prefer the smaller sizes in the wriggler ie: no 1 or 2
Flathead will eat almost any lifelike object in the water and will take the wriggler, Fish or Shad. Any size will do but after watching Squidgy secrets it was apparent that the large Flathead prefer a nice big lure. I find that the squidgy fish no 3 works a treat on little tailor and average size flatties but up at Jurien Bay over xmas mimbono5 caught a tiny Flathead on a stinking great Gold shad that she was using on snook and herring (Tommy Ruffs) to great affect.
As for colour go to a bright colour like Killer Tomato in dirty water and something more natural like Avocado or the Silver black in clear water.

Have you seen Starlo and Bushy's 'Squidgy' video??
Some of the footage is down that way isn't it (I'll have to watch it again to check:D )
Start off with natural coloured plastics in the 1-3 inch size for Bream, and go up a bit in size (3-5 inch) for the Flatties.
The 'Shad' style of plastic goes pretty well on the Flathead, although I prefer single tails and T-Tails for the Bream.
If you need anything else just send me a P.M.
Cheers,
