Hi all,
Just been doing a bit of side surfing and noticed this from one of the other guys.
Following the release of the new fishing regulations there is a section that covers fishing competitions.
It states : All private and public competitions with more than 100 participants need to formally register in advance with the Dept of fisheries.
Competition organisers required to keep an accurate record of participation, catch and effort and provide returns to the Dept of fisheries.
A formal code of conduct and practice to be developed in consultation with fishing clubs and competition organisers.
We are not there yet with BREAM WA, but imagine how much farting around would be required at weight-in.
Still, it's not a bad way of getting free info for fisheries.
Thoughts.
