Hi Justin
line twist is generally a direct result of loading the fireline incorrectly, a problem with the reel or perhaps using a lure like a metal slice i.e. without a swivel will create a stack of twist. If you are following the product guidelines then have a close look at the line roller on your reel. If that is siezed then it will definitely create twist. Even if you load the fireline incorrectly you can correct it by letting all of the line off the spool e.g. behind a boat and then wind it back on. This process should remove the twist.

thanks for ur help. the only lures i have been using are diving minnows and SP's so i dont think that they are the problem. The line was loaded at the shop when i bought the reel so that shouldn't be a problem but i will have a look at the roller. Thanks for ur help.
