The Ecogear waist pack I won arrived this morning & I am really impressed with it :D It has storage space for heaps of plastics & all the other bits & pieces you take bream fishing. I have a bunch of hard bodies in there also with treble protectors on them. Its a great product & very well made. Theres little see through pockets that Gamatsuku jig head packets fit perfectly in plus it has handles so you can carry it like a little case on your way to your fishing spot before you strap it on. great design great product & i would thoroughly recommend one to anyone who is thinking of buying one.:D :D Thanks again Warren :D

:D It takes a special kind of Ravin Looney to stand waist deep in the Pumicestone Passage waiting to hook 5 kilo GT's on bream gear I tell ya. You really need to be smoking a St Du Pont cigar & getting a little VB into you to stay relaxed for the challenge ahead. :D :D Those GT's go hard on bream gear :D :D

I sometimes think Victoria is the worst fishing state. I go on holidays to NSW Sth Coast and catch fish galore in all sorts of environments, then I come home and have many fishless outings.

Eden is a favourite, Merimbula, Tuross area, Batemans Bay, Tathra, Narooma, never fished Ulladulla or Lake Conjola though.

I haven't been up that way for quite a few years though, esp since moving to Geelong. I used to live in East Gippsland and it was quite close to get to Southern NSW.

Yeah Eden is nice, merimbula is too, Tuross is a big system, I love the Clyde at the bay and Narooma is a beautiful waterway.

I've been to Geelong and it had some nice water but I never got to wet a line.

I used to fish Eden a lot myself. The Kiah River is always interesting to fish. I fished a lot in the Pambula River for flatties & big whiting as well.

I love beach fishing in NSW, never seem to miss getting a feed of fish there, in Vic we have less fish and more difficult conditions on our south facing beaches. Wind and weed can make it really tough at times.
