Hi,
Besides lots of other reasons a great benefit of having two sons is the need for purchasing all that extra tackle, all the extra rods, reels, tackle boxes etc etc etc.
You nearly always have a ready excuse for MORE tackle and as you all know there is nothing like having MORE tackle;)

Haha geez I cant imagine you as a parent...using your kids to buy more tackle, tsk tsk.
I bet they are more responsible when it comes to lure shopping :p
My dad was kind of like that, but with golf! not fishing. We have...lets just say too much money's worth of golf equipment, but when it comes to fishing I'm stuck with one pack of sliders, a 52 scorpion and a 10 yr old rod that can wrap itself around a jettty's edge!

Well when I have a rod for each finger and each toe, what other excuse can I use to possibly purchase another reel and rod?
And hey, all those Plano's can't just sit there with any empty compartments can they ?
And all those reels and spare spools need Fireline.
And you have to have enough SP's and jigs heads to go around.
And.........................
And...........................................
And............................................... ............
;) :p ;)

Yes Pete, I agree entirely with you, alas I didn't have any daughters but I do get a lot of pleasure in taking my 3 nieces fishing and they have a great time.
Pinkies they have caught but Jewies !!!!! I'd have to draw the line somewhere!!!!
I'm a very good Uncle.......
But not that good !!!
