The first of the rods for the online store have arrived.
The Penn PinPoint IM6 rods have been selected for their quality construction and excellent value for money.
At 6', the Pinpoint is built on an all graphite IM6 (same as the Heartland IM6) blank, has quality Fuji Guides and Reel Seat, and comes with a hand made cork grip. This two piece rod had a sensitive tip, but still enough grunt to set the hook. A lot of rods fall down in this area in that they don't give enough stiffness to strike quickly.
Rated at 2-4kg, it is perfectly matched to most reels in the 1000-1500 series range. They will be selling for $149, but also available as a combo with a Penn Powergraph 1000 ball bearing reel for $220. They will be posted to your front door for these prices.
I'll have them in the store over the weekend, but drop me an email if you want one put away.
