Hi
I have been spining for bream and dusky flathead for many years now and have tried many different rods and currently my 2 favourite rods when using either soft plastics or hard body lures for bream or dusky flathead are as follows:
1. Shakespeare Synergy Graphite softbait 1.95m SP661L
2. Shakespeare Synergy Graphite softbait 2.1m SP701L
what is your favourite rod?

Most of my rods are home made so here are some.-
favorite bream rod is my home rolled Pacific Composties Ultraspin 1850 HMG
My bait rod is an old solid glass rod I revived and is so sloppy, lovely for light lines, it also doubles as an esturary nigger rod.
Salwater spinner 7kg is a Snyderglas FMT108
Flattie rod is a 6'6" JW Vector (cheap but effective) and a Samurii 006.
Jewie rod is still under construction (Pacific Comp PROCAST 2)

G Loomis SJR720 for my breamin.
Pfluguer Trion 2-6kg 6ft for tailor spinning.

Strudwick Sofbodz Finnesse 6' 1-3kg for Plastics
G Loomis "Custom" C641 GL2 ( 1-3kg casting Blank i had built into a spinning stick) hard bodies into short range snags.
G Loomis SB 721 GL2 i use as a bit of an allrounder, i like the soft action in the tip that quickly gets reinforced bu the power in the butt.
Under construction
G Loomis S782 IMX which i will put TI-LVGG Gold Cermets on, this rod is something differant from what i have been using
I am also aquiring the new Speed Samurai S001X 7' which i plan to build using the Spin Kits that "Jeff Frogley" Fugi Agencies are putting togethor. Apparantley Ian Miller did a good write up on this blank in Last months Fishing monthly, see how it goes.
