Most sucessful fly of 2002

What was the fly of 2002 ?

For me it was Crazy charlies, and the new plastic variants of it .
Also the BMS blands very nice

Slow retrieves around some nice structure on a 10ft leader 8lb tippet
pause let it sink small strip.

Size 1 & 2 Crazy Charlies in Chartreuse, Tan and flashy profile(green). Fished deep down 20 feet of water on some huge bream that pulled like trains.

In the snags fished similar flies on sink tips with shortish leaders. Gold flashy flies also worked well.
