does anyone know who builds custom rods? the rods that I want aren't just bream rods.

You can also try Rodwise, Anglers Anonymous, and Gary Shugg's in Nedlands. Also have a chat to Geoff in the Breammaster shop as I think they have someone building custom rods as well.
