I've got a 6' Gary Howard Custom Samarai, Daniel. I love it. I'm going to name my next child after it. :)
Seriously, it's a class act and although I haven't seen too many others, for the $150 ish it cost me I was very happy. It's another $200 to $300 up to the next level I think.
Lovely Fuji runners and rod retention gear, nice cork handles
and a light lovely and strong feel to it.
I held this rod in one hand and a brand starting with "S" in the other, and I chose the GHC.

I was trying to make you think it was a Strudwick. :) I hear they are particularly special rods though. Nah ... it was a Shakespeare. I have a Ugly Stick in the garage that I haven't used in ages now. My 13 year old is getting a "hand me down". :)
