Witch soft plastic works best for you?

I have tried out curlie tails ( like fat grubs ) And paddle tail style softies. I have had most success on the curlies so far but the fish don't destroy the paddle tails as quickly. But I haven't tried out any double tails.

I think it would be interesting to see peoples preferences and what they get more success on.

Also are the different styles suited to the different conditions of each day better than other styles.

double tails are not bad, and have a good action I caught a couple of flathead and a bream on one last night.

I preferrably like single tails, esp. Atomics

But for paddletails, i rather use Sliders
Atomic paddletails are a bit stiffer at the tail section
which means u have 2 retrieve faster to make the tail paddle

If the Bream are really fussy, a more subtle action - like a paddle tail - can produce the goods.

If the water is a bit dirty, a tail with a good action - such as the curl tail - could help out.

I rarely use double tail's as I find myself catching less Bream and more Flathead, and I'd rather be fighting a Bream any day of the week:D

I definately have a predilection for single tails and paddles, for some reason doubles to me at least, just don't look like bream lures.

Cant say I have used a Double Tail for a loooong time! Most of the time I find myself with a single tail on, although this is only recent. A few months ago I was tying on T-Tails more than anything else.

Just out of interest, Sliders, Grass Minnows etc aren't actually Paddletails, they are T-Tails. Paddletails are the Ecogear Pad Tue's and Kalin Reapers etc;) :D

Cheers
