Gillies Invisible Flurocarbon 4lb @25m

G'Day Folks,

I bought some Gillies Invisible Flurocarbon leader 4lb on a 25m spool......ok ok I know its expensive, but so far (2 weeks) I've been impressed with it!

Anyone else used it?

I've been using it as leader material for the kids (usually this is trouble) but its stood up to some rough usage.

I've used some calipers on it and its very close in diameter to Vanish 2lb.

Do I believe the hype of Fluro being invisible? I don't know but maybe fishing with a bit more confidence is passed on down the line to the lure etc etc......who knows? I certainly don't !!!

what do you call expensive??

i payed $25 for 25 metres of stren fluoro...which i thought was good value for what it is...check out www.stren.com for the range and diametres


confidence is a bit part of fishing. if your confident in your gear then you will catch more than the guy who isnt

where do you guys get your fluro from??

i cant seem to find it anywhere over in WA. do the shops have online orders etc that you get it from???
