hello im MiSh im 16yrs old andi just found this site after buying a Western australian fishing paper.
I am just getting my first (YEY) and i should be getting around $200. Right now i have a really poo rex hunt cheap set up and i need a new reel.

what would be a good real to get. I want it to be able to cast out light lures as well as catch big fish. I am willing to spend big this time as each time i go cheap i gets recked.

I want a metal reel and i would relly like a spare spool so that i can use it for bigger fish as well (like talior and snapper ).
CAN YOU HELP ME OUT WHOLE FAMILY HATES FISHING SO I DONT KNOW MUCH ABOUT IT thanks

Hi Mish,
Mate i can only talk for myself.
I just bought a Dawia Capricorn it was alittle over the 200 mark but it dose come with 2 spools,i also find that there are some really good buys on ebay, you might need to give your parients the money and they can use the charge cards to buy from the net.
Also i find that cleaning the reel after fishing helps the life of your reel, always tighten the drag before cleaning either hosing down the reel or using a sponge, or even like some guys do take it in the shower. You find that the reel will last a long time this way.
just my opinion.

hi MiSh

I have a shimano ultegra 2000 ( the Japenese Symetre) and would recomend it to anybody. just checked the price and it costs around $115AUD + Shipping with the left over money you could put it towards some extra lures ect

also get your self some fire line as it will dramatically increase your castind distance.

heres where you get it from
