G'day guys,
Decided to go swim some prawns this morning and had a reasonable time of it. Fished the 5wt and landed 6 Bream for my efforts.
The best was the last and he measured 38cms so I was quite happy. The easterly wind was a pain but atleast the day ended on a happy note.
The fly used was my Dubbing brush Prawn and I must say it goes very well but I'm going to tie some with a small bead on the rear or a tiny bit of lead in future so they go down a bit faster.
The best part of the morning was sight casting to the 38cm Breambo and watching the EAT, very cool :up .
Here's a couple of pics :D .
Cheers Darren

Very, very cool Darren. Well done.

If anyone has chased bream on fly they will know it's not an easy feat. Love the Abel!!

Only trouble with that reel is it distracts from a very impressive bream.

Or maybe my priorities are just wrong.

Well done Fishnuts. When you posted pics of that fly I thought it looked the goods. Still haven't built my dubbing brush jig though.

Thanks guys it was a fun morning.

Crusty, You've got to have Bling mate it makes for a better pic ;).

Brad,
No mate I'm saving the Fox for something special. I made these dubbing brushes with Steve Farrar flash blend and my homemade dubbing brush machine, I have done them with EP Fibre aswell and they turn out very dense but they work just as well.

Bloodworm I tie all my own flies mate and it took me a fair while to get this design right, it's good to see some good results for the time spent.

Tweedz they are a very cagey fish to catch as you know, on the fly makes them an even bigger challenge but more fun. Geez they go hard though when they feel the hook.

Cheers Darren

Thanks mate, we don't get Yellas down here though. Wish we did because they will readily take the fly.
Cheers Darren
