Just thought I would see who on here is making the effort for the Nelson round, mallacoota round , The Tassie round , the basin round and lake Mac round.

Its a massive mission on my own so i was wondering if there were people on here that live in melbourne who are keen to car pool , and bunk up to save a few bucks.

Should note that ill be non boater , as this will be my first year of ABT.

Cheers Toby

It's awesome. Was my first tournament last year and would really like to prove it wasn't a fluke.

Not in Melbourne but definately doing a few events as a Non-Boater this year. Mallacoota, The Basin, Lake Macquarie and hopefully have my first trip up to Bribie Island. Was thinking of going to Tasmania again but it is just a bit $$$$$$.

Good luck with the search and I am sure someone will be able to help you out closer to the dates.

Hey mate,

you enter as a non boater, (eg you dont need a boat) you will be matched with two boaters. you will need your own life jacket. PFD1
on the night of the briefing (friday night) you will meet both your boat owners. one for sat and one for sun.
there you ask what to bring eg number of rods, bags, (offer food and fuel).
then you sit back and enjoy the day. you will 90% of the tiome fish were boater fishes. but by all means if you know of a gun bream spot tell you boater.

i look fwd to the Lake comp every year, this year no different.
