Kayak with built in electric

These guys have built a Kayak, with foot steering, but instead of a rudder they have half a minkota. The top half of the minkota sits next to your left hip.

The quality first model at the boat show looked awful - but a more recent one looks ok

I went to order one but they kept putting up the price on me - so I gave up.

Anyway - the idea sounds novel.

Also saw them at the fishing & 4x4 show. What a great idea , the mind started to race to all the ep's that would fall victim to my fly as i floated up the river, then got dragged away by the smarter half ! Just out of intrest did they give you a price as the bloke i talked to was pretty so on giving out to much info.

From memory ....

Last price I heard was $1999 - incl motor and basic battery ( NOT deep cycle) It no longer inlcuded a basic fish finder.

I never found out what model motor ( salt or fresh water)

Paddle was extra
