The shop already has them in and yep they do work, Mad Phil's been getting fish on the pearl one and I think Timsy has as well..

Think I saw Josh use it once, not sure if it was a Berkeley Gulp but it was 100% organic, so it probably was

We didnt catch bream for teh day anyway and all he caught was a tiny flounder.

IMO its like fishing a bait, yuck! It gets slimey and yeah...btw I think your not allowed to use it in comps because its not artificial? Its made from natural ingredients

Hey torvic...id say it can be used in comps...
I saw timsy land a very nice bream on the pearl one on his first cast with it a while back!:D

Doesn't sound like they are going to revolutionise the SP market with the newish product going by the other forums' comments (thanks Matty) but they do catch fish (thanks Ira)

Might stick with the 1000 or so other SPs I already have.

Cheers

I've given the red a try (dunno why i got red). I haven't caught a thing on them yet, but that puts them in the same boat as most of my other plastics (Its me). I've had a few out of the pack that just don't swim, so I've had to toss them.
One lesson learn't, don't be lazy and leave them rigged up for tomorrow, they dry out and go leathery, had to cut it off with a knife.
I'll keep using them for a while and see how they go.

I've heard if they dry out all you have to do is soak them in water overnight and they come back to life. I couldn't find natural coloured ones at the local tackle shop so I haven't tried them yet.

i've been getting a few on the white pearl recently.:D :D :D

in fact it saved my fat arse in the mandurah round where i pulled a kilo fish in the last hour on the second day.

don't know why a lot a people over here haven't been using white plastics, but they work........;)

Never seen them used or used them myself but you can get them from Big W, about $9.50 for a pack of 15 I think it is, which is pretty good value.

? do you use them the same as other soft plastics or are there any different techniques that people are having success with.

Hi,

i also went to the stores to check on for some Softplatics, and i saw the Gulp Range

only colours i saw were, Pearl White, Pumpkinseed, Black, Red.

It says they are 100 % natural, and give off 400 times more scent then plastic lures.

They are very soft and jelly like.

I might give the Pearl White a go later on, see how it goes.

Lately all my luck has been in 2 " pupkinseeds, as this is the first batch of SP ive been using.
