I wouldn't be eating the fish.... I recently tasted the Parra water and to think that fish actually live in that thick fluid gives me the shudders. But then again I haven't died yet! :D

ps: I got my Victorinox knife back from the murky depths
what they make is worth a looksee

I had hoped he would not post it either. He is such an exabitionist. Poor me I get to see him like that on a regular basis. I guess that explains why i am like I am. LOL

JP makes a habit of dropping his dacks to retrieve a lure. Last time was on the Swan infront of the Heli pad at 5pm in the arvo, just as peak hour traffic was going past. The man has no shame!!!

Cheers

Hey Chopper...

Back to your original question! I've been told that they are ok to eat!

Chopper,

Ive been told to not eat anything west of Meadowbank towards Silverwater. But having a look at some of the Bream Ive caught towards Ryde and Lane Cove, they look like good healthy specimens. Then again some of those have probably moved upstream from the lower harbour/the ocean.

The answer is simple....release what you catch and you'll never get sick.

I think we were around Iron Cove when I took a dip, Dave W could confirm that. Then again it's good fun practising catch and release, especially the looks you get when putting a honker back.

Talk about a double take, for a moment I thought you were talking about cats, not fish.

You are talking about fish I hope (he types wonderingly)
