hi axemaker, there are two methods of rigging soft plastics. my prefered method is to have the grub so that the tail curves with the hook. however you can rig it the oposite way and like bream master said it would be interesting to see the pros and the cons of rigging this way.

i do prefer when riging paddle tails to have the tail the oposite way to the hook- i think it stirs up the sand as you bounce it along.

sorry i forgot to include that it is also preferable to thread the hook almost spot on in the middle of the plastic for maximum lure action

as evan said...make sure its rigged straight, otherwise it wont swim properly...it will spin and twist your line.

bream tend to be picky...the better the presentation the better your chances

hey guys

I prefer to rig my soft plastics just past halfway of the lure. ive always used this method and have caught heeps of fish with an excellent hookup rate
