Made a quick day trip to the BLACK WOOD over the weekend with Hayden.

we left haydens at 3:30am and where on the water just before 7am.

This was my first fish on this awesome river after a 10 year absence.

Even though i didnt land any monsters, i still learnt a bunch.

Hayden knows his way around this river and proved experience is the key.

The call was "BIG LURES FOR BIG FISH"

In the end it was a great day and a big thanks to Hayden for taking me to his spots.

shared some pizza with PMAC and DION as well in exchange for some tips but all we got was bum steers;) joking.....

cant wait to get back there again soon.

Yes was a good day on the blackwood the fish were deep in the snags and lost a lil bit of gear but well worth it
