Howdy boy's, I am wanting to try something out. After this weekend I noticed that the Bream wanted softies that were very flexable and not too bulky(fat). Something around 3" perhaps, worm type? any suggestions (brands)??
Picked up a heap of fish today on Squidies 3" fish in gold.

now i might not be in the best condition,(few to many drinks lol) but what about the berkley powerbaits?? tried some of them like the dropshot minnows, never fished for bream but work great on bass. Just something else to try,

Cheers,

Aaron

Yeah

the 3 inch berkley jerk baits are great..i forget what they are called though, i think its just dropshot minnows

They are in the breammaster store, but not on the online store (last time i checked anyway).

I have used the watermelon/pearl colour and it seemed effective.

Definitely the Berkley Bass Dropshot minnows in 3" size (don't cut them down). Have got loads and loads of fish in the 3 weeks that I've been using them...

Best bit is that the mulloway really seem to like them as well, so I'm going to be stepping up the braid and leader and have a bream bycatch when I'm chasing mulloway...

Thanks guy's will check them out. Chris have thought about going to a 4,5, or 6" plastic for Mullies. Two years ago a mate of mine caught and released 22 Mulloway on Scorp 125's. Night fishing is certianly the time to go, they seem to be out in numbers. Theres an article I wrote on the Sportfish website about Mulloway on flies, there may be some idea's there.

Went fishing yesterday with Ecogear 6" shads and 4" Squidgies... no mulloway but a couple of 20cm flatties took a liking... as they do to plastics half as big as em!
