G'day
I'm not looking for an SLR as I need something that is still easily portable but I'm happy to spent up to around $800 on a camera (so about $1000 with a decent case and polarizing filter). Large sensors are a must but I'm not too sure what I need in the way of zoom, etc so I'm open to suggestions. It will mostly be for traveling but of course will take plenty of fishing shots when I can keep it dry.
A couple of cameras I'm looking at are
Olympus E-PL1 Twin lens kit (Apparently a bit slow on the shutter lag and auto focus)
Panasonic Lumix DMC-G2 Twin lens kit (Bulky but good features, etc)
Canon Powershot G12 or S-95 (Good all rounder but a smaller sensor)
Does any one have any of these and HIGHLY recommend them?
Thanks in advance,
